If you are having trouble creating an IRS Online Account at Your Online Account

1. Go to: Get Your Tax Record
   
   
2. Scroll down to the section Alternative to Requesting a Transcript Online and click the Get Transcript By Mail button.
   
   
   Click OK on the Authorized Use page.
   
   
3. Enter the following 4 pieces of information:
   
   
   
   • Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Tax ID Number (ITIN)
     
   • Date of Birth (MM/DD/YYYY)
     
   • Street Address
     
   • ZIP or Postal Code
     
   
   Click the CONTINUE button
   
   
   
   
4. Select Transcript Type – Account Transcript
   Select Tax Year – 2021
   Click the CONTINUE button
   
   
   

That’s it! Your transcript will come in the mail in 5-10 days.

Note: If you are married, you need to repeat the steps for both the taxpayer and spouse. We need both.
