No sooner did we tell everyone about the IRS use of ID.me for verification to create an online account in our annual letter, did the IRS decide to pull the plug entirely on that process. 🤦‍♂️

As of the date of the IRS announcement (2/7/22), there is no information available as to what is going to replace it.
